The new signs installed at Notre Dame's O'Shaughnessy Hall in the early spring of 2015 represented the launch of a "Barrier Removal" master plan sign system designed by
Cardosi + Kiper Design Group of Chicago, IL. C+K is working with Notre Dame to create a barrier-free campus in relation to ADA compliance. With years of ADA sign experience and an extensive, proven product offering, APCO was a solid choice as a signage partner for this endeavor.
In addition to meeting ADA requirements, "Barrier Removal" is intended to bring unity to the campus signage as well as lend itself to a more efficient method of updating and replacing sign inserts. APCO's
FullView system was a perfect fit for both of these objectives, enabling C+K to create a customized design while also offering complete updatability at the facility level. FullView's tamper-resistant qualities are also ideal for campus settings.
