Change is a given in today's healthcare environment. When Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center in Chicago needed a new exterior sign system, they focused on modular systems with removable panels that could accommodate future changes. Durability and vandal-resistance were additional concerns for this urban hospital. A system of customized PolySign Multi-Panel fiberglass products proved to be the ideal solution.

The base mounted pylons, designed by Perkins and Will, feature a series of vertical panels and a curved cap detail, which are derived from the concrete structure they identify. The result is a truly distinctive identity system for the Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center, with tremendous flexibility. The hospital has already taken advantage of that flexibility and made numerous panel changes since the initial installation.
