2.04FABRICATION

2.Furnish copy in units; copy indicated in reviewed shop drawings; fill slots without specific copy with blank message strips.

 

PART 3 - EXECUTION

3.01EXAMINATION

A.Verification of conditions: ** Indicated in Coordination Section. ** OR **

1.Examine areas to receive directories; verify for correct location of cast-in anchors and electrical junction boxes installed under other sections.

2.Notify Architect in writing of unacceptable substrate or improper location of anchors or junction boxes.

3.Beginning work indicates acceptance of substrate. Subsequent modifications to substrate or directories becomes this section's complete responsibility.

3.02INSTALLATION

A.Install directories in locations indicated in accord with reviewed shop drawings. Square, plumb, and level units; install related trim pieces.

B.Make final connection to junction box for correct operation of directory lights; test for correct operation.

**C.Install message carriers not more than 48 hours prior to Date of Substantial Completion complete with message strips with correct copy in place.

3.03CLEANING

A.Clean exposed surfaces not more than 48 hours prior to Date of Substantial Completion in accord with manufacturer's instructions.
