About APCO

Since its establishment in 1966, APCO has become a leader in the architectural sign industry with a network of offices and facilities throughout the world.

Company History

APCO has played a significant role in defining the architectural sign industry.

APCO was one of the first companies to introduce a "systems" approach to an industry that had been almost totally custom in nature. Toward the close of the 1970's, APCO introduced the IM System / SignMatch, a modular sign system that became one of the most popular and copied systems ever.

From that launch forward, APCO has emphasized the development of unique products that provide the user with permanent solutions to signing and identification problems. Today, the range of APCO sign systems is one of the most comprehensive in the world.

APCO remains committed to meeting the needs of the market with innovative sign products and unmatched service. Finding little satisfaction with past accomplishments, we continually seek ways to improve our sign systems and performance in pursuit of perfection in every area.

Core Values

Sign systems are available from many, many sources. Your options are limitless in terms of choice.

APCO products speak for themselves, having been proven and tested over time. With numerous design awards, environmentally conscious manufacturing processes, and successful installations worldwide, the quality of APCO's products is not hard to define.

The APCO ethos, however, extends far beyond product. We stand firm in the belief that we are not only obligated to help you define your unique signing needs, but also to provide solutions that are cost-effective and eliminate inefficiencies.

The APCO Golden Rule is simply:
If we were the customer what would we expect?
