191 PEACHTREE OFFICE COMPLEX
Atlanta, Georgia

The lobby at 191 Peachtree Street is the kind of monumental space you would expect to find in one of the finest office towers in the Southeast. Since it opened in 1989, this distinctive structure, designed by New York’s John Burgee Architects, has been a magnet for some of the largest and most prominent law and accounting firms in the region.

The building directory for 191 Peachtree had to go outside normal size limitations to reflect the grandeur of the lobby and contain the 1,448 directory strips required by the tenants. A custom console was designed to house three separate illuminated directory cabinets, providing a monolithic appearance. Custom polished brass trim and Italian marble facing for the console combined to achieve an ornate effect.

This directory looks as good today as it did the day it was installed, in part because the Property Manager uses the reordering system, insuring new strips match existing ones perfectly.
